ISLAMABAD – National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee Friday ordered the Higher Education Commission to implement the decisions of the committee regarding the 2015 COMSATS dual-degree case.
Committee Chairman Khurshid Shah warned his HEC counterpart Dr Mukhtar Ahmed of inquiry if the decisions were not implemented as soon as possible.
Dr Ahmed said that the case still rests with a court. The committee, however, ordered him to implement the decisions and gave him a week time in this regard.
The NA body also formed a three-member committee; comprising Naveed Qamar, Shafqat Mehmood, and Junaid Anwar, which would complete its task till next Thursday.
