Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the exhibition and visited different stalls set up in it. He was accompanied by Federal Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
Several local and foreign companies are also participating in the expo.
The event is being organized to enlighten the local and foreign business community regarding investment opportunities in the country.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal speaking in the exhibition said that CPEC Summit and Expo will lay the groundwork for the next round of the project.
Iqbal also stated that China Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring Chinese investment in the country.
“CPEC is based on creation of business to business links and economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries,” the minister said
